Glenn Pauling and Scott Walker carried on their strong pairs form in making the Semi Finals of the recent Bowlselite Men’s State Pairs.
They progressed through sectional play at Bassendean, having won two of their three games with a high shot differential.
On Monday at Osborne Park they accounted for Cambridge duo Jim Barry and Cliff Wooldridge in making the last sixteen, where they overcame the Manning pairing of Blake Butler and Miles Kemp 14-12.
Tuesday at Sorrento they faced last year’s runners-up Charlie Slavich and Corey Bessant in the quarter final and again won narrowly, 15-12.
In the semi final they fell 16-10 to the accomplished team of Pieter Harris and Clive Adams 16-10.
They can be proud of their efforts in the event and it will serve as a great foundation for a tilt at the PBA World Indoor Pairs in the U.K. this month.
