Lara Symons is South Perth Bowling Club’s latest state representative, competing at the recent Disability Sport Australia National Multibowl Championships held at Clearview in South Australia.
Having taken up the game recently, it is a meteoric rise from Tuesday Night Scroungers and Friday Night pennant competition to representative level bowls.
Lara credits her introduction to playing the game to Stephen Coles who instructed Lara in the use of a bowling arm. She also thanks Alan Petchell from Rossmoyne for his time given in coaching lessons.
