On Sunday 11th August the South Perth Bowling Club held its inaugural golf day at Collier Park.
Twelve pairings faced off on the Pines & Lakes courses.
Much fun was had by all who returned back to the clubrooms for presentations and a BBQ lunch afterwards.
Winners – Peter Cassidy & Vinnie Santostefano
Second – Troy Kinnane & Jason Cook
Third – Brett Havercroft & Adrian Durrant
N.A.G.A. Award – Simon Kenny & Rob Campbell
Longest Drive (1st Tee) – Adrian Durrant
Nearest The Pin (3rd Hole) – Tony Percival
Longest Drive (8th Tee) – Adrian Durrant
Nearest The Pin (14th Hole) – Adrian Durrant
Longest Drive (16th Hole) – Nick Reagan
Without a doubt the loudest outfit was worn by Vinnie, to whom Simon Kenny asked “Did you swallow a rainbow this morning?” in one of many hilarious moments had during the day.
Spirits were also boosted by a surprise visit from Ken Screech driving the refreshments cart.
Thanks go to Travis Vallance for his efforts in arranging the event, and to Brett Havercroft & Tony Percival for organising prizes and lunch for what is sure to become a successful annual event.
